Solar Energy System
The Solar Energy System is a system that uses particular panels to exploit the sun to make the cooling circuit more efficient, creating savings of up to 50% of electricity consumption. Making use of heat exchangers and a patented device, accelerates heat transfer to the condensation point, thus improving the amount of liquid flow through the expansion valve, reducing or eliminating flash gases. Ideal for shopping centres, cold platforms and cells etc. The warmer the atmosphere, the more energy the chillers require and the more efficient our system is
The SES also works in heating mode: the free additional heat of the refrigerant in the solar panel allows the compressor to reduce its load and therefore, its energy consumption. Depending on the weather conditions, COP values are possible (heating capacity compared to energy consumption) even higher than 8! The SES is also equipped with the innovative Solar Bypass Valve. This allows the gas to bypass the panel in heating mode, when the sun is overcast, in conditions of heavy cloud cover or at night.
